Week in Review (On Vacation)

We were on vacation for a family wedding all last week, so our usual homeschool Preschool schedule didn't happen.  However, the kids did get lots of new and fun experiences and plenty of time outside.  Here are some of the things we did..

The bride put our whole family to work preparing the outdoor wedding location.  L spent an entire day digging holes with her shovel.  She kept digging as she talked about digging holes for birds to rest in.

The next morning, L declared that she didn't have time for breakfast because she had more holes to dig!  E helped, too...
.. when she wasn't too busy hugging dogs:

The girls helped with a lot of different tasks, and had a wonderful time.

Baby H got a lot of sunshine and fresh air, as well:

I can't believe how much he's starting to look like a toddler rather than a baby - my little boy is growing up so fast!

The wedding was beautiful and all the kids were so well-behaved the whole time.

After the wedding, we stayed in town a couple more days and had a chance to take many walks, go out to restaurants, and enjoy spending some quality family time together without being constantly glued to our laptops.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a fish hatchery and feeding the baby fish:

It was amazing to see the little fish swarm towards the food, and Baby H and I enjoyed watching them as much as the older girls.

Our little vacation was a nice change from our usual routine, but it's also good to be back in our own home.
